Bolto

A variant spelling of Bolt, evoking lightning-fast speed, electric energy, and unstoppable forward motion.

Bolto is the name of a dog who runs before he walks, who hits his stride in the first three steps, and who disappears into the distance while you are still reaching for the leash. A variation on Bolt — made famous by the lovable super-dog of the same animated film — Bolto carries all that electric, lightning-fast energy with a slightly softer, more personal ending. Whether or not your dog has actual superpowers is debatable; that he acts like he does is entirely expected.
