Demetric

Demetric is a boy's and girl's baby name of Greek origin, a variant of Demetrius — from the Greek Dēmētrios meaning 'devoted to Demeter' (the earth goddess) or 'earth worker,' from dēmē (earth) + mētēr (mother). Several Byzantine emperors and early Christian martyrs bore the name Demetrius.
